Professional Breastfeeding Course (Online) Terms and Conditions
Amberley Harris of Maternal Instincts by Amberly is the developer of the Professional Breastfeeding Course to help midwives, nurses, doulas, birth educators, hypnobirthing practitioners, and other maternity care professionals to extend their knowledge of breastfeeding support.
By purchasing the Professional Breastfeeding Course (the “Course”) from Amberley Harris ABN 26519786548 trading as Maternal Instincts by Amberley (the “Course Provider”), you agree to the following terms outlined in this agreement as a condition of your purchase and undertaking of this online course.
1. Course Structure and Delivery
1.1 The Professional Breastfeeding Course is self-paced and contains 7 modules as follows:
Module 1 Ways to help your clients prepare for breastfeeding, antenatal expressing, aromas/fragrances and the newborn, breastfeeding plans;
Module 2 Birth-related influences on breastfeeding (medical interventions), skin-to-skin, the brand-new bubba, why third stage matters;
Module 3 The first breastfeed, your role in the magical hour, the Breast Crawl, what baby-led attachment looks like and when maternal assisted attachment is needed;
Module 4 The four breastfeeding holds including how to choose the best fit for your clients, positioning and attachment, milk composition;
Module 5 Types of milk (colostrum, transition milk, mature milk), milk sharing;
Module 6 How to thoroughly assess milk supply, types of jaundice (physiological, breastmilk and pathological) how to increase milk supply;
Module 7 Expressing, breast and nipple care (blocked ducts, mastitis, nipple vasospasm, nipple infections), nipple shields, bottles (phasing them out and introducing them), phasing out formula top ups.
1.2 The Professional Breastfeeding Course is an online course and all course materials are available immediately upon download.
1.3 Each Module in the Course is delivered via video format and include supporting material for download including a study guide, learning notes, templates and product lists.

2. Fees & Method of Payment
2.1 By purchasing this course, you agree to pay the advertised price in Australian Dollars (AUD). Please check the equivalent in your local currency.
2.2 All prices exclude GST.
2.3 Payment is requested online via credit card via our current third-party payment processors, Stipe and PayPal.
2.4 The Course Provider does not retain any information provided during payment and your information is managed by the Privacy Policy of the third-party payment processor selected by you for payment.
2.5 We reserve the right to change these prices from time to time. Please check the website for updated pricing information.
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Due to the nature of the delivery of the course where all course material is provided as an instant download upon purchase no refund is available for change of mind.
3.2 A refund may be considered where there is a breach of consumer guarantees under the Australian Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
3.3 Any request for a refund for any such breach must be in writing to amberley@maternal-instincts.com.au.
4. Your Responsibilities
4.1 You agree that you must complete the Course modules and self-study requirements to obtain the full benefit of the Course.
4.2 You agree that you are fully responsible for your progress and results from the Course.
4.3 You agree that individual results may vary and that it is possible that you may not achieve the expected results and that your learning and development outcome is dependent upon your commitment to completion and personal skills and abilities and not the responsibility of the Course Provider.
5. Intellectual Property and Copyright
5.1 All course material including but not limited to course content, manuals, videos and all other material are the property of Amberley Harris and/or her affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
5.2 All material including but not limited to course content, manuals, videos and all other material is provided solely for your personal non-commercial use.
5.3 You may not use any of the materials available within this course or within any program Maternal Instincts by Amberley in a manner that infringes any of our rights or that has not been authorised by us.
5.4 You may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit, or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any material from this platform or any program without the express permission of Amberley Harris. You may request such permission by emailing amberley@maternal-instincts.com.au.

6.3 Results are dependent on various factors including but not limited to, commitment, online skills, personal ability, current breastfeeding experience and knowledge level and dedication, and in no way dependent on any information the Course Provider provides to you.
